Updating Your Address with DHS

 PRINT

All foreign nationals (including international students and their dependents) living in the U.S. need to report their physical address immediately to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

F-1 & J-1 students on TAMU documents can update their address through MyRecord. Students not on TAMU documents and the dependents must complete form AR-11 and mail it to the address listed on the form. One AR-11 form should be used for each family member who is not a US citizen, but all may be mailed together in the same envelope.

Remember the address listed on form AR-11 must be your physical address (street or apt. address) not a post office box number.

According to Federal Regulations, phyical address must be reported to DHS by all foreign nationals and must be updated within 10 days EACH TIME the address changes.
