Arrival Information

International Van (Spring, 2008) : Click on the link above for more information about this service.  This service is available only to students arriving at the Bryan bus terminal or Easterwood Airport in College Station.

From Friday, August 10, 2007 to Sunday, August 19, 2007, Texas A&M University's Office of Graduate Studies (OGS) and Division of Student Affairs (DSA) are providing late-night transportation from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston to College Station. The Late Night IAH Bus Service picks up students arriving at IAH after the final commercial shuttle has departed for College Station.

Public Transportation

Students arriving at George Bush International Continental Airport in Houston (IAH), the Easterwood Airport, or the Bryan Bus Terminal when our Pick-Up Service is not available will be required to find transportation to College Station on their own.  Here are some options:

  1. Call a taxi – using the local yellow pages, you can find a taxi to take you to your final destination.  We do not suggest taking a taxi from Houston directly to Bryan/College Station as this could cost over $100 US Dollars.  If you require transportation from Houston, there are three other options:

  2. Purchase a flight directly from IAH to Easterwood airport in College Station – this may cost about the same as taking a taxi (you may want to check out websites such as http://orbitz.com or http://travelocity.com

  3. Greyhound Bus – Students taking the bus from Houston to Bryan should be aware that they will most likely need to take a taxi from the airport in Houston to the bus station in Houston (which could cost about 40 US Dollars.)

  4. Ground Shuttle – This option is slightly less expensive and will pick up students directly at IAH and drop them off at the airport in College Station.  For an extra 5 dollars, they will drop you off at another location of your choice.  Costs about 25 US Dollars.

Please remember that it is the student’s responsibility to secure housing for the duration of the student’s time here at Texas A&M.
