Der Euro – Unser Geld |
| By Ashli C. Simpson |
| |
| Abstract: |
| Two months after the introduction of the Euro
currency, the German Mark was phased out of circulation. This
paper describes actions taken by the German government and
businesses and the reaction of the German citizens to the
currency switch. It also explains reasons why the conversion
has been more emotionally difficult for some German generations
than others. |
