The Millennium for Multilateralism
By Allison Morton

Abstract:

Despite the hype of terrorism in the Middle East, a large issue regarding the role of the European Union in the future of politics is evident in current foreign affairs. The United States currently has a strong grasp on sways in world events. But a small delve into the gears of European politics gives a better understanding of the future of the United States. Three scholars present a variety of observations regarding this topic. David Calleo, Robert Kagan, and Charles Kupchan together provide a thorough background for answering questions regarding the unipolar rule of the U.S. today and the possibilities of multilateral division of power in the future.
